We’re looking for a Director of Product Marketing to join our growing marketing organization and help us strategize, build, and drive key parts of our core business. In this role, you’ll be at the forefront of shaping our go-to-market strategy for Redis Enterprise solutions. The role requires a clear understanding of and experience in marketing cutting-edge cloud-based solutions, primarily to enterprise buyers. Domain expertise in data management/databases is required. The successful candidate will possess extensive experience in building integrated GTM campaigns, as well as partnering with demand generation, digital marketing, and partner marketing. The person must also have a creative flair, planning skills, sales understanding, and people leadership experience.

The ideal candidate will have worked in a high growth Cloud/SaaS company and should be hands-on with the ability to lead by example.

What you’ll do: 

  • Own and develop the product marketing strategy and messaging for our core Redis Enterprise offerings. Craft and socialize a story which aligns with our overarching product narrative and addresses the key problems customers encounter.
  • Be THE enterprise real-time data voice for Redis. You’ll evangelize product functionality, strategy and roadmap across the business through presentations, videos, demos and at industry events and trade-shows, both internal and external. 
  • Launch new product solutions and partner with product and sales enablement teams to implement and monitor product adoption through new and existing customer journeys.
  • Collaborate with campaigns and content teams to develop relevant content that aligns with GTM strategy and can be used in campaigns, enablement, and other customer interactions.
  • Drive awareness to integration partners for customers with complex requirements.
  • Coach the product marketing team members to help them further their professional development and strengthen the team as a whole.  

What will you need to have? 

  • 10+ years of combined experience in product marketing, product management and/or engineering, with at least 5 years in product marketing, and 3 years experience in people management.
  • Extensive experience in developing product positioning and messaging with which to execute product launches, marketing programs, sales enablement, and demand-gen campaigns.
  • A combination of small and large company experience with a track record of doing the work and leading by example.
  • The ability to be comfortable in a startup-like environment and operate independently to build and execute new programs and initiatives.
  • Experience working in enterprise software-as-a-service companies in database or data management space. 
  • A metrics-driven approach with strong analytical skills
  • Outstanding communication and collaboration skills
  • CS Degree and/or MBA preferred
