The Role

The product marketing team at Amperity is tasked with developing and executing the go to market strategy for Amperity that will help Amperity to establish itself apart from the market and to fuel brand growth.   We are looking for a Director, Product Marketing, responsible for the growth and continued success of Amperity’s platform products - DataGrid and AmpID.   These AI-powered, multi-patented products together enable transformative speed to value on customer data management initiatives, and are increasingly connected to hundreds of technology partners through our open, interoperable approach.

This mission critical role will be responsible for developing the strategic go-to-market for each of these products, and the development and execution of the strategic roadmap to achieve that plan. This includes working cross functionally to influence the product roadmap, and to create the pricing and packaging, marketing and communications, partner ecosystem, and field programs that will drive growth, customer retention, and value expansion.     

This is a highly strategic role for someone who craves a stimulating learning curve, loves mixing creativity with business operations, loves to context switch from strategy to execution, and who is up to the challenge of owning a core business unit of the company.   

Responsibilities

  • Collect and analyze customer and market insights and competition to create strategies that drives key GTM objectives
  • Launch exciting new products into the market, and lead and evolve pricing, packaging, messaging and positioning exercises that drive our narrative and influence the category
  • Drive industry thought leadership including developing content as well as represent the company in external events, analyst and press briefings etc
  • Develop and implement product launch plan, in collaboration with Product Management, that will fuel growth and retention of the business
  • Develop and lead education programs, sessions that enable various teams, customers, and partners to scale desired outcomes on the product
  • Maintain growth through promotion of existing core pillars; propose and lead integrated engaging brand experiences

About You

  • Diverse background in product marketing, ideally at an established enterprise SaaS provider, platform marketing experience highly desirable 
  • Proven experience driving critical business outcomes across the customer journey (awareness, demand, product usage, renewal and up-sell)
  • Strong desire to help brands use 1st party data to make an impact to grow their business, improve employee experience, and transform the customer experience
  • Ideally has experience serving large enterprise B2C brands
  • Desire to work in a fast changing, dynamic matrixed environment; ability to collaborate with multiple internal organizations to drive company success
  • You love to create and inspire through a mix of collaboration and blank page thinking
  • Excellent written communication and presentation skills - able and willing to become a company spokesperson and thought leader 
  • Strong analytical skills and passion for analyzing products, competitors, and market dynamics
  • Self-starter, finisher - you aim at outcomes, figure out the plan, and make it happen
