The role:
As the Director of Product Marketing, you will play a pivotal role in driving the strategic product marketing initiatives for our suite of supplemental curriculum and assessment products, positioning them as essential solutions in the market and for our customers and prospects.
Reporting directly to the Chief Marketing Officer, you will lead a team of talented product marketers to differentiate our product offerings through research of buyer and market insights, contributions to product priorities and strategy, development and execution of go-to-market strategy and calendar, providing product expertise for the creation of marketing content, and driving of sales enablement efforts.
You will also collaborate closely with cross-functional teams—such as product management, enablement, sales, customer success, and other teams within marketing—to develop and execute comprehensive go-to-market strategies that drive product adoption, engagement, and revenue growth.
You will:
- Define and execute product marketing strategies to drive awareness, adoption, and retention of our supplemental curriculum and formative assessment solutions. Align strategies with overall business objectives and market trends.
- Lead the development of go-to-market plans for new product launches and updates, including positioning, messaging, pricing, and distribution strategies. Collaborate with product management, sales, and other stakeholders to ensure successful product launches.
- Conduct market research to identify customer needs, market trends, and competitive landscape. Translate insights into actionable strategies and tactics to differentiate our products in the market.
- Build and integrate product positioning into the creation of compelling marketing collateral, including sales enablement materials, product messaging, website content, case studies, and thought leadership content.
- Partner with other teams in marketing to determine areas of focus and market opportunities for multi-channel marketing campaigns to drive lead generation, customer acquisition, and retention.
- Collaborate with sales teams to develop sales tools, training materials, and presentations that effectively communicate the value proposition of our products. Ensure alignment between marketing messaging and sales efforts.
- Establish product marketing key metrics to measure the effectiveness and impact of product messaging and competitive positioning in the market. Work with other marketing functions to track data and metrics to optimize marketing strategies in support of our departmental OKRs, improve ROI, and drive continuous improvement.
