ABOUT THE TEAM

The Product Marketing and Lifecycle Marketing team is focused, in close partnership with Product, on setting up our products and features for success by bringing our customer voice, marketing through effective positioning and messaging to drive adoption, creating compelling narratives that resonate with our audiences and generating virality within an organization.

YOUR MISSION

The Director Product Marketing will manage a team to drive the Go-To-Market process and tell the stories that drive the adoption of our strategic initiatives, products, programs, and services. Build. Deeply understand the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats to our business, products, and solutions, always connecting customer insights to roadmap strategy. Launch. Bring a collection of products to market that prove our unique value, vision, and leadership by partnering with cross-functional teams to expand global customer reach and awareness. Deliver best-in-class product education and communications that bridge the gap between customer experience and product development. Launch Execution: Lead the team in developing and executing full-funnel product launch strategies and tactical plans. Positioning & Messaging: Craft insights-backed product positioning and messaging that serves as the keystone for internal and external launch assets, marketing programs, web copy, presentations, and more .Ensure product narratives and launch plans are informed by insights, resonating with customers and continuously speaking to their challenges and pain points. Act as the voice of the customer in product development, design, and strategy sessions. Grow. Develop messaging that demonstrates deep audience understanding to effectively sell, continue to advocate for our customers, monitor sentiment, and provide recommendations for new opportunities.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • You will have a drive to understand customer needs, dig into product details, and elevate our messaging to deliver solution-oriented, breakthrough initiatives
  • This role is a part of our Product Marketing team and reports into our Vice President of Product Marketing
  • Own go-to-market activities for the team, coordinate the GTM strategy with the team, and see through the execution with partners. 
  • Be the voice of the marketing team to the product management to influence product direction
  • Develop focused messaging that proves Mural’s differentiation across audience workflows and jobs-to-be-done
  • Provide support for the field sales teams in the form of sales content and collateral for both mid-market and enterprise

WHAT YOU'LL BRING

  • 7+ years of SaaS/Enterprise product marketing experience
  • Demonstrated ability to build programs and processes from start to finish
  • 3+ years managing a team, but also be able to roll up your sleeves when needed
  • Ability to create clear and compelling presentations and explanations for internal and external audiences
