We’re growing quickly: In 2 years since founding, Bigeye has raised $66M in funding from leading investors like Sequoia, Coatue, and Costanoa. In that time, Bigeye has built a customer base of data teams from organizations like Instacart, Udacity, and Clubhouse, and more than doubled the size of the team.
Bigeye is looking for an experienced product marketer to build and lead our product marketing team from the ground up. The Director of Product Marketing will report to the co-founder and CEO, and will drive the strategy for Bigeye’s positioning, messaging, content strategy, and GTM team enablement.
This role will have an outsized impact on our growth trajectory, and will work with company leadership, product management, and sales to bring our platform to new customers and increase our adoption with existing customers.
Developing and maintaining a deep knowledge of our product and how it matches our customer needs.
Creating differentiated positioning and messaging that resonates with our customers and drives our leadership in the market.
Ensuring our messaging is clear and consistent across sales and marketing.
Building and owning core marketing and sales collateral.
Create packaging and pricing that helps Bigeye capture target use cases and customer segments.
Developing and maintaining relationships with customers to continuously learn about their use of Bigeye, incorporating it into our product and go to market strategies.
Understanding the competitive landscape and keeping our go to marketing strategy cutting edge.
Partnering with Sales leadership to design and execute effective sales enablement programs
Partnering with Product Management, Marketing and Sales to design and execute effective product launch campaigns.
Partnering with Demand Generation and Content teammates to design and execute integrated marketing campaigns that drive demand for our platform.
5+ years of experience marketing technical B2B products.
Experience building content, brand and sales enablement plans and orchestrating the execution of it.
Experience developing a positioning and messaging framework that resonated with your customers.
Crisp and concise communication. Background in design and copywriting is a plus.
Experience partnering with a sales team.
Ability to define and track quantitative measures of marketing performance.
Ability to develop your own frameworks and systems from first principles.
Experience working across functions like design, engineering, marketing, and sales.
Experience understanding, connecting with, and marketing to a data engineering, data science, or data analyst audience.
Experience managing outside agencies and contractors.
Working knowledge of web frontend technologies and frameworks.
