About Snorkel

At Snorkel, we believe meaningful AI doesn’t start with the model, it starts with the data.

We’re on a mission to help enterprises transform expert knowledge into specialized AI at scale. The AI landscape has gone through incredible changes between 2015, when Snorkel started as a research project in the Stanford AI Lab, to the generative AI breakthroughs of today. But one thing has remained constant: the data you use to build AI is the key to achieving differentiation, high performance, and production-ready systems. We work with some of the world’s largest organizations to empower scientists, engineers, financial experts, product creators, journalists, and more to build custom AI with their data faster than ever before. Excited to help us redefine how AI is built? Apply to be the newest Snorkeler!

The Role

We are seeking an experienced Product Management Leader to join Snorkel’s Data-as-a-Service (DaaS) team, which is focused on leveraging our internal data development platform and technology, combined with a scaled expert network, to collaboratively develop and deliver scaled frontier datasets and environments to leading LLM labs and companies. In this role, you will collaborate cross-functionally with Engineering, Delivery, Sales, Marketing, Research and our Expert Contributor network to define and execute a product vision that differentiates Snorkel as a partner to deliver high quality, specialized datasets for frontier labs and enterprise customers.

You will also act as a strategic advisor to product leadership, shaping roadmap prioritization and influencing R&D investment decisions.

This role is ideal for someone with strong data development and AI expertise, with the ability to move fast, iterate quickly, and lead teams through ambiguity. While expertise working with research isn’t required, familiarity with research value, concepts and industry terminology is essential.

Main Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a strategic roadmap that aligns our teams to drive seamless product development that supports our business goals.
  • Lead cross-functional collaboration between Engineering, Delivery, Sales, Marketing and our Expert Contributor network to deliver a cohesive and user-friendly platform for our internal and external customers.
  • Foster a culture of fast iteration, learning from failures, and continuous improvement
  • Advocate for research investments, understanding their impact and ensuring significant differentiation
  • Provide technical and strategic product leadership while balancing short-term execution with long-term vision
  • Partner with leadership and internal stakeholders to scale and evolve our DaaS platform

Minimum Qualifications

  • 8+ years of product management experience in software, with at least some experience at a startup
  • Experience building products with an appreciation for user experience in SaaS environments, delivering end-to-end workflows that involve user interfaces and SDK experiences for internal teams.
  • People management / leadership experience, with a track record of recruiting, mentoring and guiding teams
  • Strong execution skills in fast-paced, iterative environments
  • Experience working across infrastructure, machine learning, and web-based product teams
  • Proven ability to connect business goals to product strategy and translate complex technical requirements into user-focused solutions

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience building products for expert data labeling or post-training data domains
  • Experience building 0 → 1 AI-native products with two-sided marketplaces
  • Experience leading and sustaining product growth initiatives
  • Experience working in domains with adversarial behavior or fraud
  • Familiarity with security topics, including but not limited to sensitive, regulated data (PII / PHI / PCI) and associated controls with handling said data
  • Prior founding experience preferred, but not required
Salary Range
$250,000$300,000 USD
