The Role
Fuzzy is looking for an experienced director of product marketing to join the marketing team and lead the direction, planning, and execution of go-to-market strategies. You’ll lead key work like user segmentation, positioning, messaging and drive the strategy to increase awareness and adoption of Fuzzy. You will leverage customer and market insights to drive the strategy for Fuzzy’s new and existing routes to market. Responsibilities
- Setting the direction, planning, and execution of Fuzzy’s go-to-market strategy and lead key work like customer segmentation, positioning, messaging and drive the strategy to increase awareness and adoption of Fuzzy
- Become a trusted partner to the product team and establish a continuous feedback loop that encompasses customer input, market trends, and competitive factors to influence product development
- Continue to evolve product positioning and key messaging through thorough understanding of the product, industry, audience, and key competitors
- Conduct user, market, and competitive research to better understand and evangelize market trends and apply key learnings to product roadmap and marketing strategy
- Design marketing campaigns based on market segmentation, arranging the company’s target market into groups of customers with similar traits and needs
- Partner closely with teams across Product, Design, CRM, Growth, Brand, Content, and Creative to execute strategies with clearly defined and measurable metrics.
- Increase awareness and improve adoption by producing marketing assets like videos, customer stories, blog posts, emails, and help articles.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree, preferably in a Marketing or Business-related field
- 8+ years of product marketing experience at DTC companies with a track record of successfully launching new products and features.
- Strategic vision, yet crafty execution. You must think big and be able to get into the weeds
- A communicator with the ability to distill complex information into understandable, actionable, persuasive assets
- Customer-centric with experience in generating qualitative and quantitative insights and using those insights to inform your marketing strategies
- Ability to understand customer needs, create customer value, and highlight competitive differentiation through packaging and pricing
- Detail-oriented with a track record of flawless execution and exceptional organizational and time-management skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with exceptional attention to details and the ability to articulate objectives, strategies and tactics clearly across teams.
