Be a technical subject matter expert for Workato Enterprise Automation Platform. This includes understanding the platform architecture, features and functions, and competitive differentiators, connectors, and SDK.
Product Messaging - Identify target customer segments and relevant personas. Develop and own product positioning, segmentation, messaging, and value propositions that differentiate Workato in the market
Product Roadmap - Work closely with Product Managers to identify needs and sharpen product offerings based on feedback from customers, sales, and competitive offerings
Product Launch – Drive product launch strategies by developing clear product positioning and value propositions. Drive launches for new products and releases and manage the cross-functional implementation of the plan.
CS Enablement – Develop enablement and training materials for our sales engineering, customer success, and post-sales teams.
Market & Competitive Intelligence – Continuously monitor the market and assess the competition to gain a deep understanding of technology shifts and market needs.
Collateral Generation – Develop, publish, and share technical content including white papers, blog posts, demos, videos, webinars, training, and tutorials
Customer Engagement - Keep current on customer’s product feedback and needs, including customer’s buying behavior, challenges, and motivations to help develop additional messages/collateral
Work alongside other members of the product & partner marketing team to understand the customer challenges of the world’s largest organizations, and how Workato helps solve those problems
Ideally, you have an Engineering, Computer Science degree, or similar experience. Having a technical background is a must
10+ years relevant work experience; minimum 4+ years in the B2B software industry, with a strong preference for background in managing Enterprise SaaS products
Proven success developing, implementing, and managing product launch & release plans
Proven track record of marketing to a highly technical audience within large organizations. You must be comfortable working with and marketing to technical buyers and stakeholders within enterprises.
Capable of building demos that require software development knowledge, such as the use of APIs, databases, and webhooks, and familiarity with tools such as Postman, Github, etc.
Strong technical background with knowledge and understanding of integration, automation, and Enterprise SaaS products
Proven ability to understand complex concepts, and develop simple-to-understand messaging for customers, and internal stakeholders.
Excellent written, presentation, and verbal communication skills, including the ability to communicate clearly and simply
Project management skills can manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
Detailed and results-oriented. Skilled at both planning and hands-on execution
Coordinate with multiple teams that are geographically dispersed
Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with a bias for action
Outstanding ability to lead cross-functional teams under tight deadlines
Experience engaging directly with enterprise customers
Strong foundational knowledge of SaaS, Cloud technologies, APIs, B2B enterprise software
Familiarity with integration products, problems, use cases, and solutions
Can easily and quickly grasp the technical product capabilities, and articulate value for customers, positioning/messaging, and use cases
Can directly work with PM team, and lead the planning and execution of product launches
Can independently do most of the content creation for product launches vis-a-vis blogs, long-form posts, videos, demos, product hour webinar
