What will be your role?

Join the PayFit adventure in our awesome Design Department! We are fast growing and we want to do so healthily. We also want to leverage continuously our level of excellence in design and customer-centricity.
With a design team of more than 20 amazing talents (and more are joining), growing in an international product organization with more than 200 players (product managers, product builders, engineers, designers, etc.), we need to set in place powerful design operations.
As a Design Ops joining PayFit, you will contribute to bring our design department to the next level. Your role will be key to put our design team at a high level of excellence.

You will be responsible for:

Operational efficiencies: Improving design team efficiency, collaboration, processes, and rituals. Working closely with our amazing Product Ops team, partner with them on cross-department initiatives to ease and improve collaboration and efficiency between designers, PMs and engineers.
Design System Mechanics: Strengthen our Design System processes/ecosystem and push forward its adoption. Centralizing our assets, tools and documentation, breaking silos to converge all team material to one single source of truth. Support the construction of a Design System embracing all our brand & product design assets.
Design Team Growth & Fulfillment: Enable a healthy growth of our design team by building processes and tools to ease and empower our designers recruitment, onboarding and training. Support an environment where diversity and inclusion play a key role in the design department. You also facilitate team buildings and events to improve our design team cohesion, fulfillment, and happiness at work.

This job has been tailored for you if...

• You have at least 5 years of experience as product designer or project manager working closely with a design team, with a strong experience on design systems and design teams collaboration (you have at least one significant experience leading, scaling or processing a design team).
You are passionate about Design Systems and processes, you are obsessed with automation and efficiency.
You have strong analytical skills. You enjoy coordinating stakeholders and managing projects.
You are proficient in English
You have strong communication skills and a very strong team spirit. You enjoy collaboration, understanding other people’s pain points and co-designing solutions for others.
You are empathetic, accessible and an educator. You enjoy explaining and sharing about your work
