Design Manager job at Xsolla

Xsolla is seeking a talented and passionate Design Manager to join our creative team. As a Design Manager, you will be responsible for managing the creation of visually engaging and innovative motion graphics and animations for our promotional videos, marketing campaigns, and other digital content. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of design principles, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Overseeing and managing the entire design and motion design process, from concept development to final execution.
Collaborating with stakeholders, and a Creative team to develop project objectives, goals, and scope.
Developing project timelines, milestones, and schedules, and ensuring that all deadlines are met. Monitoring project progress and making adjustments as needed to ensure successful completion. Facilitating communication and collaboration among team members to ensure a smooth and efficient workflow.
Providing monthly reports on performance of the team, creating dashboards, setting KPIs and updating roadmaps.
Reviewing and approving final design deliverables, ensuring that they meet the project objectives and quality standards.
Conducting post-project evaluations to identify areas of improvement and implementing necessary changes in design processes and procedures for future projects.
Closing out projects, including conducting post-project evaluations, documenting lessons learned, and archiving project documentation.
Ensure all motion designs are in line with brand guidelines and creative briefs.
Maintain an organized workflow and adhere to project deadlines.
Stay up-to-date with industry trends, tools, and techniques to continuously improve design quality and efficiency.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in design, project management, or a related field.
A minimum of 2 years of experience in a creative agency.
Familiarity with design-related software, such as Adobe Creative Suite, including After Effects, Illustrator, and Photoshop. Proficiency in Figma is a plus.
Advanced knowledge of JIRA, Atlassian tools and Google DataStudio.
Strong understanding of design principles, composition, typography, and color theory.
Ability to multitask and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Exceptional organizational and time-management skills. Ability to work independently or as part of a team. Analytical and communications skills, as well as creativity and technical work.
Proactive and adaptable approach to problem-solving.Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in English is required.
