Design Manager

We’re looking for a Design Manager who’s passionate about making a positive difference in the world by working collaboratively and consciously on a real-world problem solving focused Startup, by building a scalable and predictable world-class team.

Our current Design Team is based in Buenos Aires, Argentina. We work on all Product, Visual and Motion initiatives across the company, and count with 6 great designers (so far). We work on a daily basis with our folks from Canada and the US.

We’re looking for an empathetic Design Manager, to help us build our design foundations, grow our team, and manage our team operations. This is a very hands-on role with management responsibilities. The position will evolve as the team grows.

This is a role for a creative and people-oriented individual with strategic judgment and willingness to collaborate within a team environment. You’ll help not only lead the MaintainX team but inspire and elevate designers and stakeholders by bringing professionalism, predictability and scalability to our current projects and initiatives.

As Team Manager, you will be in charge of the orchestration and optimization of people, processes, and craft in order to amplify design’s value and impact at scale.

You’ll have an opinion about the right direction to go, the flexibility to change course when needed, and the communication skills to provide clarity to the rest of the team.
