What we’re looking for 🔎

The Creative Designer will be responsible for the creation and timely delivery of customer themes and other Creative services within the native limitations of the Splash CMS and with adherence to each customer's brand guidelines and unique requirements. Through close collaboration with our customers, the Creative Designer will implement innovative event programming and design solutions that align with customers’ business goals. The Creative Designer role requires a high-level experience and understanding of hierarchy of elements and typography, color, sizing, layout, as well as accessibility standards and CSS/JS.

Because the Creative Designer position encompasses many responsibilities and opportunities for growth, we are looking for versatile candidates with experience in both design and development.

In this role, you’ll get to…

  • Work closely with our customers to:
    • Maintain a professional and collaborative relationship with Splash customers for each assigned project
    • Collaborate with the Manager of Splash Creative and the Splash Creative Team to manage, design, and execute the building of event templates (landing page, email templates, forms) for our broad and varied client base
    • Innovate on best building standards and assure brand consistency across multiple projects and brands
    • Coordinate across Creative, Product, and Dev teams to achieve high quality results
    • Execute design analysis on event sites built for brands to ensure function, scalability,  and brand consistency
    • Use your creative problem solving to develop detailed processes which assist the creation of comprehensive design solutions that engage, delight, and inspire
    • Manage and track simultaneous projects and tasks effectively and deliver assignments on time
    • Communicate effectively and consistently with stakeholders on project development


  • Experience
    • 4+ years experience as a designer, with 2+ years experience in web design
    • 2+ years of experience in customer-facing design role
  • Experience taking ownership of complex projects and producing successful outcomes
  • Working knowledge/experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript
  • Excellent problem-solving ability
  • Detail and deadline-driven
  • Demonstrated critical thinking skills
  • Naturally team-oriented with a mission-first attitude
  • Hands-on Splash experience a major plus
