About the job

This position is needed to lead creative and integrated campaigns operations for the Twilio Segment Marketing team. This role will be highly collaborative in nature as it requires creative strategy acumen paired with an innate operational mindset for developing foundations that scale as part of the Integrated Campaign Team. You will be responsible for managing a team, being the main creative partner to cross functional marketing leaders and help shape processes critical for the greater team's success. 

You are passionate about marketing and have a results oriented mindset to help connect creative strategy to business results. You recognize the interdependent nature of a marketing organization, you are a natural problem solver and thoughtful in your approach to achieving shared goals. 

Responsibilities

In this role, you’ll:

  • Manage a growing team of creatives. Set a clear vision, drive individual development and growth
  • Manage external collaborators (contractors) and agency partners ensuring quality and consistency 
  • Own both strategy and day-to-day management of all things creative for Twilio Segment Marketing including digital content, video strategy, production design, OOH campaigns and our visual identity as sub brand
  • Identify and define operational processes that drive efficiency, collaboration and excellence
  • Partner with marketing leadership on overall channel and creative strategy to drive funnel efficiency for key campaigns
  • Make marketing creative decisions with a deep understanding of our entire end-to-end service and customers
  • Think beyond the brief—identify additional opportunities to drive performance, consumer engagement, channel strategy, and long-term brand affinity
  • Supporting the sub-brand strategy and integrating Twilio Segment as part of the parent company

Required:

  • 6+ years of relevant experience, with expertise in design, art direction, and strategy.
  • Experience designing and scaling marketing campaign operations for creative efficiency
  • Advanced understanding and usage of Figma and Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign)
  • Proven experience across the full palette of brand expression: digital, web, physical, events, social media, motion and print
  • Excellent interpersonal and team building skills; collaborative team player who wants to see themselves and others thrive.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to make clear connections between the creative work and business need for their audience. 
  • Ability to establish credibility upwards and cross-functionally to drive collaboration decision making 
  • A steward of operational excellence 
  • An excellent communicator to diverse audiences
  • A champion for fostering a culture of trust through feedback, communication, and transparency. 

Desired:

  • Experience managing a team 
  • Experience managing a remote team is a major plus
  • Copywriting for B2B software companies
  • Understanding of funnel optimization and demand generation discipline 
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, including an ability to communicate effectively with C-level executives and a diverse array of stakeholders.

Location 

This role will be remote, and based in the United States.

Approximately 5% travel is anticipated.

  • The estimated pay range for this role, based in Colorado, is $109,280 - $136,600 
  • Additionally, this role is eligible to participate in Twilio's equity plan.

The successful candidate’s starting salary will be determined based on permissible, non-discriminatory factors such as skills, experience, and geographic location within the state. This role is also eligible to participate in Twilio’s equity plan and for the following benefits: health care insurance, 401(k) retirement account, paid sick time, paid personal time off, paid parental leave.
