We are looking for a passionate and experienced product marketing manager to join the Consumer Product Marketing team and support our Platforms Experiences team, who is responsible for the Spotify consumer experience across non-mobile platforms (eg. Desktop, Web, Connected TVs, Game consoles, Car, Smart Speakers, Wearables…).
This person will play a crucial role in partnership with Product Managers to advance Spotify’s consumer experience across its entire device ecosystem, as well as support the growth and development of our video consumer experience.

What you'll do

  • Ensure product success by developing differentiated positioning, stand-out product marketing and education assets that support product launch and ongoing promotion:
  • Work with Product, Design, Insights and Engineering teams to support the product development process by providing strategy, testing, and consumer insights to ensure product market fit.
  • Develop go-to-market strategy and lead all aspects of global product launches, collaborating with creative, channel and marketing analytics teams to drive sustained product adoption and growth.
  • In partnership with Product, Content and Marketing partners, build Spotify’s consumer value proposition for video across the entire platform in order to drive user awareness and adoption of the format.
  • Own and coordinate the marketing and communication strategy across Global and Regional Marketing, PR, Comms, Social, CRM and CS teams
  • Find opportunities based on user insights and social discourse to drive impactful activations aimed at growing usage and engagement with Spotify’s growing device ecosystem
  • Develop ongoing product education plan for owned products and features, including targeted creative assets tailored to all relevant Spotify markets
  • Quantify performance of owned products and features, reporting out regularly to Product and Marketing leadership
  • Partner with regional marketing teams to expand product marketing programmes to relevant markets and audience

Who you are

  • You have at least 7 years of experience in marketing and/or product marketing for tech, mobile, gaming, media, VOD or consumer electronics.
  • You’re passionate for consumer electronics, with a strong knowledge of the competitive market and trends.
  • Experience driving adoption of new products / services, understanding the key performance indicators and measurement approaches
  • Experience with consumer marketing campaigns, running the briefing process and strong creative judgment
  • Hands-on experience in defining a product’s positioning, preparing marketing briefs and building marketing go to market plans in collaboration with R&D, global and regional marketing teams
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to work closely with data scientists and insights teams to extract key informations from reporting dashboards, define key performance indicators, measure campaign performance to produce internal campaign reports
  • Consistent record in building collaborative partnerships across multi-disciplinary teams, including product management, engineering, design, insights, data science
  • Ability to quickly connect product features and benefits with user needs and translate into value props and high-quality deliverables
  • Experience in driving reactive social media activations with short production cycles from concept to posting.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and spoken, with the ability to influence and communicate cross-functionally and at all levels of the organisation
  • Highly organised, with experience of working on multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced dynamic environment
  • International experience, working with disparate teams across time-zone
