About us:

What you'll do:

As a Brand Designer on our Creative Team, you’ll create illustrations and design layouts that compliment our product and content, inspire smiles and sensible chuckles, and help to create a consistent brand experience across all our communication touchpoints. 

Our burgeoning Creative Team has a healthy appreciation for design, education, and what we jokingly call “light business humor”. In a sea of rote calls-to-action and email-gated white papers, we strive to create joy through our words, images, and moving images. We’re here to help Shortcut hit and exceed its Q1 KPIs and OKRs, increase our MQLs, and tackle every other business acronym out there, while also making sure we (and our users) have fun in the process. 

Ideally you’ll enjoy dabbling in illustration, layouts, and graphic design. This is a remote role and reports to the Creative Director (who is also remote) within the Marketing team.

You will:

  • Draw pictures for a living, but in a fancy way
  • Assist us as we evolve and grow the principles behind our brand
  • Use human centered design to make it easier for customers to sign up for our product, while also learning how to get the most from it 
  • Design for multi-channel creative campaigns and brand content, including but not limited to display ads, drip campaigns, and social media
  • Work closely with the Creative Director and Sr Brand Designer to maintain brand guidelines and systems to support consistency across the entire customer journey
  • Work closely with in-house copywriters, project managers, product designers, and developers to make design decisions informed by research, brand positioning, and business objectives

You should have:

  • An exceptional portfolio of illustration work, concept-led digital content, and campaigns
  • 3+ years working on digital marketing with an in-house team or agency
  • Experience with a SaaS-based business is a huge plus
  • Experience with brands in the collaboration tools market is a plus, but not necessary

  • WFH: We are a fully remote company, and we provide all the equipment you need to work from home in addition to an annual WFH stipend.

Target base salary for this role based on experience: $115,000-$139,000 annually + target equity + benefits (including medical, dental, vision and 401(k))
