We're Redis. We built the product that runs the fast apps our world runs on. (If you checked the weather, used your credit card, or looked at your flight status online today, you’re welcome.) At Redis, you’ll work with the fastest, simplest technology in the business—whether you’re building it, telling its story, or selling it to our 10,000+ worldwide customers. We’re creating a faster world with simpler experiences. You in?

Why you’ll love this job:

You believe in the power of brand.

We’re looking for a Mid-level Designer to join our Brand Marketing team and immerse yourself in a role that blends creativity with technology. This role will play a huge part in our continued brand rollout and implementation.

You’re a hands-on storyteller.

On our team, you’ll craft dynamic branded experiences, infusing life into digital and physical touchpoints with your expertise in visual design. Collaborate on branding and experiential projects from concept to completion. As part of our internal brand studio, you’ll both support the design leadership team and work independently as a self-starter.

You look for yes.

Our team thrives on open feedback and collaboration. Here, your strong communication skills and optimistic problem-solving approach will be crucial as you engage in projects that challenge you to innovate. This role will celebrate your creativity and independence.

What you’ll do:

  • Drive creative projects: Develop and execute innovative visual designs for web and mobile platforms, ensuring they align with Redis’ standards of creativity and functionality. Your work will help shape the visual identity of our brand across a diverse landscape.
  • Concept and visualize: Utilize your design skills to bring our brand to life, as well as enhancing engagement across a broad set of touchpoints.
  • Collaborate across functions: Work closely with the brand team, product marketing, demand generation, and more to create cohesive and comprehensive design that works as a system. Engage directly with the brand leadership team and marketing team to ensure that all designs support Redis’ strategic objectives.
  • Ensure brand consistency: Maintain brand continuity across all design projects, adapting and evolving the visual language as needed to keep our brand fresh and engaging.
  • Support marketing initiatives: Work alongside all marketing departments to help design and execute performance-driven advertising campaigns, enhance product launches, and contribute to memorable brand experiences at major corporate events.
  • Gather information: Participate in gathering insights from marketing, sales, and other departments to inform design strategies and support broad company objectives.
  • Promote team cohesion: Help build trust, respect, and credibility within the Brand team. Engage effectively with peers and support an environment of mutual respect and openness.
  • Communicate effectively: Articulate design concepts and decisions clearly to team members and stakeholders, including brand leaders and marketing professionals. Your ability to communicate design rationale will support collaboration and the iterative feedback process.
  • Leverage latest technologies: Stay abreast of the latest technologies and design trends, integrating them into your workflow to keep Redis at the cutting edge of design.

What you’ll need:

  • Relevant experience: 2-4 years of experience in brand design within a well-regarded brand or agency, preferably with exposure to B2B and/or SaaS environments.
  • Strong portfolio: Showcase a portfolio that highlights your ability to create visually compelling designs, including a range of projects that demonstrate skill in typography, color, form, and design thinking. It should reflect your proficiency in using design tools and your ability to communicate complex ideas through visual language.
  • Design system expertise: Proven experience with contributing to the development and refinement of design systems and visual languages.
  • Tech proficiency: Skilled in Adobe Creative Suite and Figma.
  • Growth mindset & continuous learning: Keen to stay updated with the latest design tools and trends. Your ongoing education in the design field shows a commitment to personal and professional growth.
  • Communication & collaboration: Effective communicator, able to clearly present design concepts and justify decisions. Experience in working collaboratively within diverse teams, contributing to a cooperative work environment.
  • Project execution skills: Ability to manage projects from concept through to execution, demonstrating a balance between creativity and practical implementation.
  • Attention to detail: Your work should exemplify a high degree of attention to detail and craftsmanship, with a mindful approach to balancing aesthetic quality with functional design.
  • Time management: Demonstrates strong organizational skills and an ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Educational background: A degree in Graphic Design, Digital Media, or a related field is desirable but not required. Significant emphasis is placed on practical experience and a demonstrative portfolio.
