As a Brand Design Manager (website) in Qonto’s very international environment, you will help cultivate our strong design culture. As part of our Design Studio, you will work with talented designers, who are all passionate about and skilled in solving conception/design problems.

You will join a large design studio of 60+ talented designers, collaborate with a variety of profiles and expertise (Product Designers, UX Writers, System Designers, etc...), and contribute to building an international brand with ever-evolving challenges with your team.

• Manage a team of 6 to 10 brand designers with strong expertise in web design

• Coordinate with Product designer leads and engineers to define a vision and strategy for the website

• Drive your team to help us meet business objectives

• Mentor, pair, and delegate work to foster the professional and technical growth of your teammates

• Run 1o1s and quarterly progress reviews to provide regular feedback to your team members

• Help build a collaborative, diverse and supportive team culture and make it shine

• Run interviews to hire new team members

As we launched our rebranding in February, you will work on a whole new brand, with great new challenges and freedom to make it more innovative, to encourage creativity in your team.

Here are some of the big goals of the web design team for the next year:

• Visual delight: make sure the website is creative, animated and interactive

• Scalability: make the website modular and able to handle and adapt to our needs,

• SEO: Make sure it can handle hundreds of thousands of visitors with good SEO within a year

• Experience: You have at least 5 years of experience with a proven track record of designing large-scale brands

• Leadership skills: You are motivated to grow in management and have demonstrated your ability to develop people by mentoring advanced designers and apprentices

• Communication skills: You are able to pitch and convince high-level stakeholders and break silos

• Mastery: You possess a strong design acumen and can guide other teams in the use of a design system.

• Make an impact: You want to design a brand that is used by thousands of companies, in a fast-growing environment.

• Continuous improvement: You thrive to get better every day even if it means learning from your own mistakes.

• Languages: You are fluent in English. French is a plus.
