The Design team at Gorgias
Gorgias is looking for a Brand Designer to join our growing team of talented folks around the globe. We’ve been building our design team for the past 1.5 years and are looking forward to having you join. At Gorgias, we love to put our customers first and as a Brand designer, you would work towards this goal by creating designs that express the Gorgias story through our customers. 

Your Role
As a Brand design lead, you will be responsible for developing a comprehensive brand for Gorgias as well as the creative execution for all customer-facing marketing materials. One of your first projects would be evolving and uniting the Gorgias brand guidelines. In the next year, you’d also help Kat, the Head of Design, grow the branding team.

What you’ll do

  • Under the direction of the Head of design, you’ll create world class design solutions for the Gorgias Brand with a focus on brand, layout and graphics
  • Evolve and unite the Gorgias brand from marketing and our website, to our help desk platform with materials such as a company-wide design style guide
  • Conceptualize and develop high-quality materials for marketing; paid advertising, web, social, email, blogs, events etc within time or budget restraints
  • Build, lead, and grow a creative team of brand designers and a video editor on creative excellence, as well as help them with prioritising their workloads, and daily tasks
  • Collaborate with product designers to create a unified experience across all customer touchpoints
  • Initiate your own projects based on anticipated opportunities and areas of possible improvement

Your Skills

  • 6+ years of brand design experience with a portfolio that showcases your best work
  • Developing, executing and evangelising brand guidelines
  • Mentoring and leading other designers, or a strong interest in moving in this direction
  • Graphic and presentation skills with communication skills to explain design decisions
  • Experience or knowledge of tools used at Gorgias including Webflow, Figma, Sketch, Illustrator
  • Have played an integral role in launching creative marketing campaigns where you’ve ideated multiple directions without losing sight of business goals or customer insights
  • Ability to multitask and work towards deadlines
  • Working alongside a variety of designers, copywriters and other cross-functional disciplines
  • As we’re a global team, fluency in English
  • Bonus: SaaS, start-up or Ecommerce industry experience
