THE OPPORTUNITY

We are hiring a Brand Design Director to our Brand & Content team in São Paulo! 

We are seeking a seasoned creative executive to join the Creative Team leading our global creative efforts: Creative Studio, Corporate Design, Social, and Brand Creative who can help us take our brand – and our brand marketing – to the next level.

YOUR IMPACT

  • Manage and inspire creative systems and development (brand marketing stunts, paid campaigns, social creative development, brand design) across nine markets.
  • Fight for edgy ideas, for consistency and craft clearing roadblocks to ensure that Gympass design work breaks through, and its scalable brand system..
  • Partner closely with the brand, creative, comms, growth and enterprise marketing team to both deeply understand the evolving media landscape and guide brand stack evolution and design decisions for communication.
  • Build the internal and external teams to support the strategies for now and for future growth
  • Mentor and motivate the team into a well-oiled operation, coach them on how to successfully partner cross-functionally to quickly and efficiently execute on large-scale programs
  • Lead strategic frameworks, goal setting, and brand management across all Gympass design development. Synthesizing overall business objectives, brand system, web development, and audience needs to drive strategies and tactics that optimize our creative excellence and effectiveness outcomes for all stakeholders. 
  • Build cross-functional relationships with key cross-functional partners such as Marketing, Content, Comms, Brand, among others to align and drive the overall business objectives.
  • Define success metrics and be responsible for ensuring their implementation through all of the work of the team.

WHO YOU ARE

  • Solid background in Design Experience, having led regional and (or) global teams, with a proven design track record and brand design system implementation under his/her belt. (Wellness/Fitness experience is not necessary but a plus). 
  • Knowledge of UI, typography, image and related design standards for web
  • Expertise with Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, Sketch and proficiency with other tools of the design trade
  • Deep understanding of leading, hiring, and managing a global team across different time zones
  • Robust collaboration skills, with demonstrated ability to align cross-functional teams towards common goals. 
  • A highly effective, clear, and inspiring communicator, both written and verbal, across multiple audiences including clients, partners, employees, members, etc with a knack for simplifying complex topics. 
  • Operational excellence, including the ability to problem-solve and bring scale to both your work and the work of your team so change can happen quickly, consistently and efficiently.   
  • Anticipates future business needs by proactively identifying issues/obstacles and opportunities that must be tackled in the future and effectively create solutions.
