- Research and define feature requirements by writing user stories and acceptance criteria and partnering with the engineering team.
- Work with our Customer Experience and Sales teams to discover the pain points that our customers and prospects face with their front-of-house operations.
- Consult on solutions for our customers and prospects, which includes Olo's existing products and features in addition to investigating and scoping new feature requests.
- Coordinate with our partners to ensure we are able to support product enhancements.
- Compose detailed documentation for released features.
- Demo completed work to internal and external stakeholders.
- Create data dashboards to help track metrics of completed features and identify opportunity areas.
What We'll Expect From You
- Collaboration with teammates across an entire organization, including engineers, product peers, customer support, sales directors, and executives.
- A growing understanding of the Product Manager role for a software technology company that operates in an Agile process framework.
- Experience working with teammates to build project plans and timelines and manage against those timelines to ensure that you ship the right products at the right time with the right quality.
- Proactive communication: you’re able to keep several stakeholders up-to-date on ongoing plans and future opportunities, and you’ll find ways to explain complex scenarios/functionality in ways that non-technical people can understand.
- A willingness to get technical and dive into the weeds of our integration in order to find opportunities to optimize processes and workflows.
- Knowledge of the restaurant tech market, including who the major players are and able to articulate their unique value propositions.
- Curiosity and drive to understand the needs of several stakeholders, both internal and external.
