The Gig

Squarespace is seeking an Associate B2B Product Marketing Manager to help further establish our product as the all-in-one platform bringing creative ideas to life. This role will focus on growing Squarespace’s professional engine, Squarespace Circle. Circle is our 65K strong cohort of professional designers, developers, and consultants that build their clients’ sites on Squarespace, and help shape the future of the Squarespace product. Other areas of focus include supporting Marketplace (Professionals for hire) and the larger PMM team with cross-functional team processes and coordination.

You will help develop the positioning, messaging, and go-to-market strategies for the program that houses tens of thousands of creative professionals who are building their clients’ websites with Squarespace. 

With an analytical approach and understanding of the market, you will deftly connect our product and product capabilities to customer needs. You understand that the needs of professionals can differ from those of consumers, and are passionate about helping show how our user-friendly products can work seamlessly for them. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams on product launch and promotion strategy, communicating the value of Squarespace’s Circle program to both internal and external audiences.

This role is based in our NYC headquarters and reports directly to the B2B Product Marketing Manager. This is an opportunity to join our Marketing team at an exciting stage of growth and innovation globally. 

You’ll get to…

  • Help develop product positioning and messaging that differentiates our pro user program in the market
  • Develop go-to-market strategies for new product launches and accompanying briefs for channel partners
  • Manage a roadmap of ongoing, cross-channel, strategic marketing initiatives at a product line level
  • Identify problems and begin to brainstorm opportunities for deeper user understanding, and go-to-market plans.
  • Draw on qualitative and quantitative insights to understand product adoption, usage, and retention across customer segments
  • Recommend new program/product ideas and marketing strategies 
  • Draw on competitive analyses and customer research efforts to understand key customer segments and define opportunities
  • Partner with the Circle and Marketplace teams to help prioritize program optimizations based on customer and market research
  • Own internal communication of marketing initiatives

Who we’re looking for

  • 2-4 years of marketing experience, ideally in product marketing, growth marketing, product management, communications, content strategy, or go-to-market strategy.
  • B2B experience preferred
  • A fundamental understanding of B2B marketing channels including content marketing, partnerships, sales enablement, and field marketing
  • Ability to build range of marketing assets for multiple channels
  • Project management abilities to plan and execute cross-functional initiatives
  • Strong communication skills: verbal, written, and visual
  • Customer focus, with a deep understanding of the value Squarespace provides for users
  • Growth mindset, adaptability, and a drive for continuous improvement
