We’re seeking a motivated FinTech Product Management Summer Intern to join our IT team and contribute to technology initiatives supporting our financial systems, automation efforts, and digital transformation programs. This is a hands-on opportunity to explore the intersection of finance, data, and technology in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. You’ll work alongside experienced IT, Finance, and Product professionals to improve system integrations, streamline processes, and gain exposure to platforms such as Salesforce, NetSuite and data analytics tools.

Key Responsibilities

  • Jr. Product Manager for financial systems (e.g., ERP/ CRM/ CLM, and other apps).
  • Help document system workflows, data flows, and process maps.
  • Contribute to PRDs and Product demo for upcoming feature releases, system improvements, and internal stakeholders
  • Support system integration testing and troubleshooting under supervision.
  • Participate in automation and reporting projects (e.g., dashboard creation, data validation, or process optimization).
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams within Finance, Accounting, and IT.
  • Prepare internal presentations, reports, and summaries of findings.
  • Contribute to AI-enabled FinTech initiatives by:
    • Exploring use cases for generative AI in process automation, risk detection, and financial insights including data preparation, model testing, or prompt engineering for AI-driven tools.
    • Supporting pilot projects using AI or predictive analytics to improve efficiency across finance operations (e.g., expense categorization, payment matching, or customer insights).

What we are looking for in you

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Finance, Data Analytics, or related field.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Familiarity with at least one of the following: SQL, Python, Excel, or data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau).
  • Interest in financial systems and technology integration.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to learn quickly and work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Have a minimum of one quarter/semester remaining in university studies after the internship concludes. Graduation date in Fall 2026 or Spring 2027.
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States. Company sponsorship may be available for eligible candidates applying for certain roles.

MongoDB internships are full-time (40 hours/week) for 10 consecutive weeks lasting from dates in June until August. All interns are considered hybrid employees, designated the "in office" working model and are expected to be in their office location 3-5 days a week.

MongoDB’s base salary range for this role is posted below. Compensation at the time of offer is unique to each candidate and based on a variety of factors such as skill set, experience, qualifications, and work location. Salary is one part of MongoDB’s total compensation and benefits package. Other benefits for eligible employees may include: equity, participation in the employee stock purchase program, flexible paid time off, 20 weeks fully-paid gender-neutral parental leave, fertility and adoption assistance, 401(k) plan, mental health counseling, access to transgender-inclusive health insurance coverage, and health benefits offerings. Please note, the base salary range listed below and the benefits in this paragraph are only applicable to U.S.-based candidates.
