Product Manager II - Agent

As the Product Manager II for Agent, you’ll own the vision, roadmap, and execution related to our Datadog Agent. You’ll work closely with a diverse set of customers to understand how they manage their infrastructure footprint, how they use the Agent to monitor their infrastructure, and what long-term capabilities they would like in the Agent. You’ll work with product teams across Datadog to identify opportunities to improve our Agent and create new business opportunities and customer experiences.

What You’ll Do:

  • Work backwards from the customers on recommendations for roadmap for the Datadog Agent
  • Own the product onboarding experience through the Datadog Agent
  • Work closely with the Agent engineering teams to launch new capabilities for the Datadog Agent
  • Leverage data to provide insights for business reports and improve customer experiences for the Datadog Agent

Who You Are: 

  • You have a minimum of 3 years of Product Management experience or equivalent technical experience, ideally at a SaaS and/or Observability company 
  • You have a strong technical background and/or sense of the day in the life of an engineer shipping, maintaining, or securing a distributed cloud application. Experience working with open source community and microservices architectures is a plus
  • You have excellent verbal and written communication skills and the willingness to present and defend your ideas to both technical and non-technical audiences
  • You are customer-obsessed with a high quality standard for the product to be delivered
  • You have a strong bias for action 
  • You provide data-driven and feedback-based recommendations 
  • You have a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics or equivalent experience
  • You are based in New York or Boston, or are willing to relocate before starting the job

Datadog offers a competitive salary and equity package, and may include variable compensation. Actual compensation is based on factors such as the candidate's skills, qualifications, and experience.
