As Workspace Design Manager for the Real Estate and Design TEAM, you play a critical role in driving design solutions and creative elements for the Atlassian EMEA/NA portfolio.

Your future team

We're hiring a Workspace Design Manager, reporting to the Real Estate and Development Lead. You are creative with a background in Architecture and Design. Here, you'll work on global projects and collaborate with the Atlassian TEAM!

What you'll do

You will be the main driver behind architectural development, FF&E selections, design consultant management, drawing package phase approvals, detail management, design standardization and specification management.
As Workspace Design Manager you will be the reference point of contact for internal Atlassian EMEA/NA creative projects and team collaboration.
You will also work closely with the EMEA/NA Development team from Real Estate site selection through build-out/punch-list management and documentation of as-built conditions.
This includes working collaboratively with the Design Director in the "Wonder and Explore" phase of projects ensuring you interpret and incorporate the creative vision which has been set at a portfolio level into the local environment.

Your background

BA/Undergraduate 4-year degree in Architecture
7+ years experience in either direct Architectural practice -or- on the client side
5 years of working in a Design capacity on the client-side team
Experience managing internal and external project teams
Excellent written and Oral communication skills
