Job description

Atlassian is looking for a Technical Product Marketing Manager to join our enterprise & migrations marketing team. Your role will be to develop and implement marketing strategies and programs to increase awareness and adoption of customers who are migrating from Atlassian Server or Data Center to Atlassian Cloud. You will help influence the product roadmap by bringing market and customer insights to R&D while also creating technical content and working closely with teams like Solution Engineers, Solution Architects, and Engineering to deliver a strong, cohesive experience for migrators.

About you

You have 3-5+ years of B2B product marketing experience and a background in professional services, solutions engineering, technical writing, customer success, or product management, ideally at a technology company, or have an aptitude for understanding and ramping on new technologies. You can translate complex technical topics into simplified marketing campaigns for diverse technical and non-technical audiences. You have been responsible for creating, driving, and managing go-to-market plans and owning a product's core messaging and positioning. You're a passionate, self-starter with a no-bullshit, can-do attitude. You're eager to jump in and get things done but don't get flustered in a fast-paced and often changing environment.

An ideal candidate will be able to:

  • Previous experience in Professional Services, Solutions Engineering, Technical Writing, Customer Success, Product Management, or Technical Product Marketing
  • Use customer, market, and competitive insights to influence product strategy and drive effective messaging
  • You are a storyteller who has the creativity and writing skills to communicate technical topics with authenticity
  • Partner with Product Management to shape product strategy and develop the go-to-market vision for our enterprise & migrations business
  • Understand IT infrastructure and governance, OSI model layers, and critical business process management
  • Easily navigates cross-functional teams and dependencies
  • Experience defining and delivering technical product marketing deliverables, including product and solution demos, videos, presentations, competitive analyses, ROI analyses, technical whitepapers, and enablement material
More about our team

Serious collaboration will be the key to success in this role. We run our organization like a well-oiled agile team, where the top priority items are easily identifiable, and everyone on the team rallies around those deliverables, and each other, regularly. We are comprised of end-to-end marketing teams: field marketing, online marketing, interactive, product marketing, and data analysts.
