Senior Technical Writer

We are seeking an experienced Tech Writer to partner with enterprise product and integration teams to overhaul existing documentation while making recommendations on a go-forward basis.  In addition, the role will be responsible for consulting with development teams and integration teams on new features to create live documentation and release notes that will be consumed downstream.  

Responsibilities:

• Revise current end user facing integration guides and documentation to ensure clarity in communication, correct information and logical organization
• Decipher and document complex routines for purposes of end-user consumption
• Work cross-functionally with product, tech and integration teams to gain documentation feedback and approval.  Coordinate with team on getting revisions pushed to a dev portal in a timely manner
• Develop a process for distributing and write release notes for any new features/capabilities

Qualifications:

• 7+ years of enterprise technical writing experience
• Software/API integration writing/ documentation experience
• Experience compiling end-to-end syntax for technical implementation experience
• Experience collaborating with architecture and software development teams
• Experience being an independent consultant on a project with the ability to self-drive work and communication with the stakeholders

Colorado Applicants (Colorado Equal Pay for Equal Work Act Disclosure):  The starting salary range for this role to be performed in Colorado is estimated to be between  $65,000 to $98,000 annually.  This salary range is specific to Colorado residents only, and provided as a general estimate.  The amount offered may be higher or lower. Method  takes many factors into making an offer, including candidate qualifications, work experience, operational needs, travel and onsite requirements, internal peer equity, prevailing wage, responsibilities, and other market and business considerations. 

New York City Applicants (New York City Local Law 32;  Pay Transparency Law):  The starting salary range for this role to be performed in New York City is from $72,000 to $108,000. This salary range is specific to New York City residents only, and provided as a general, good faith estimate. The amount offered may be higher or lower.
