Senior Product Designer, Unfold - Video (Remote)

We're looking for a Senior Product Designer to join the Conversion team within the Growth organization. The Conversion team oversees templates and how they are merchandised to our customers. You will help guide users towards the right starting point for them and building their awareness and confidence during their first moments with Squarespace. You will use a systems approach to create a compelling experience for any user looking to build their online presence. You will contribute to designing templates that match our user's needs and uphold the design standards we have at Squarespace. There will be opportunities to collaborate with other teams like Frontsite (squarespace.com), Trial Experience, Commerce, and Presence to ensure we create a valuable and coherent user experience for each of our users.

You'll report to the Product Design Manager of Conversion.

You'll get to

• Improve existing design solutions and concepts for the platform that are usable, educational, and relevant while also evolving our brand language
• Create rational, articulable, elegant solutions to complex problems
• Think holistically about the user journey and product ecosystem
• Contribute to OKRs and product roadmap by working with PM and Engineering partners
• Work with cross-functional teams to evolve solutions that equally support our strategy and user goals
• Initiate work from concept and discovery through delivery and beyond
• Be data-driven and have an interest in improving the experience
• Facilitate user research and testing, ensuring usability and product consistency

Who we're looking for

• 6+ years of experience
• Knowledge of current trends in design, technology and best practices regarding visual design principles of consistency, color, typography, animation and an eye for subtle details
• Experience in the UX process inclusive of research, visual design and prototyping
• Perceptive about customer's needs and coming up with ideas that are enticing
• Proficiency in animation tools like Principle

A portfolio of relevant design work is required for consideration. It should illustrate your involvement and how you contributed to solving specific problems.
