Lyft Media’s vision is to build the largest transportation media network. We leverage media to elevate the transportation experience for our users while building an exciting and sustainable advertising business. Our assets include several out-of-home (OOH) media units such as rooftop screens and the largest bike-share network in the country, while our digital assets include in-car entertainment screens and Lyft in-app sponsorship opportunities.

As a Product Operations Lead for Lyft Media, you will work closely with our Head of Operations to manage both our Rooftop & In-car advertising products nationwide. You’ll dive deep into whichever problems are most pressing & work across our entire operations. You will be responsible for ensuring both products are healthy and growing in accordance with the strategy and goals of the Lyft Media business.

Responsibilities:

  • Act as right-hand person to the Head of Lyft Media & focus on solving the most pressing operational issues at any given moment - across all of our products and markets
  • Improve existing operational processes & build new ones from scratch to address gaps and achieve our OKRs
  • Dive deep into problems to identify root causes, recommend solutions, and implement them across the team 
  • Analyze qualitative and quantitative operational data using spreadsheets and other analytical tools to make data-driven decisions
  • Drive cross-functional initiatives working across Tech, Sales, Procurement, Finance, Compliance and external partners / vendors

Experience:

  • 2+ years of operations and/or strategy work (ideally with hardware) in a high growth startup or big tech environment
  • Experience building processes from scratch & implementing them to solve business problems
  • Experience leading cross-functional projects & collaborating closely with many team members
  • Experience using data to analyze performance and drive strategic decision making
  • Willingness to roll up your sleeves and fix problems in a hands-on manner when needed
  • Strong proficiency with no-code automation tools (e.g. Zapier, Airtable, Retool, Sheets, etc.)
  • Resourceful, have a strong willingness to learn, and can pick up new skills where needed (eg SQL, Python)
