Product Manager - Cloud Workload Security

The Cloud Security Platform brings speed and scale to your security organization. Datadog Cloud Security Platform delivers real-time threat-detection and continuous configuration audits across applications, hosts, containers, and cloud infrastructure. Built on top of the observability platform, Datadog brings unprecedented integration between security and devops aligned to shared organizational goals. Current products include:

• Cloud SIEM: Real-time threat detection across operational and security logs.
• Cloud Security Posture Management (CSPM): Continuous scanning for misconfigurations across cloud accounts, hosts, and containers.
• Cloud Workload Security (CWS): Real-time eBPF-powered threat detection across your hosts and containers.
• Application Security (AppSec): End-to-end application security monitoring and prevention.

The Opportunity:

As a Product Manager for the Cloud Workload Security team, you will bring observability context and workload security intelligence together, helping customers understand what is happening to their workloads and why. You will own the analytical capabilities for Workload Security, bringing bleeding edge techniques together with security and observability data to make Cloud Workload Security the most intelligent threat detection product for production hosts and containers. You will collaborate with engineering, data science, and other product managers across the Datadog platform to define new analytical features and bring them to our customers.

You Will: 

• Drive the product roadmap for analytics capabilities for the CWS product
• Research new forms of analytics, leveraging both security and observability data
• Partner with detection engineers to understand how to accelerate investigation and response
• Work closely with our world-class, distributed engineering team and data scientists.
• Work closely with Executives, Marketing, Sales, PR, Design and Support teams to successfully ship new security features.
• Engage with cloud-native SRE and security engineering teams to identify new market opportunities and extract valuable product feedback
• Independently research the market and competition

You Are:

• You have a proven track record as a product manager in the Observability/Monitoring industries
• You have experience creating products/features using large data-sets and advanced analytics techniques
• You have a strong technical background and enjoy learning new technologies
• You have sharp communication skills and the willingness to present your ideas to technical stakeholders and executives alike

Bonus Points:

• You have first-hand working knowledge of security operations, threat detection & response, or offensive security
• You have a deep understanding of Linux
• You’ve worked with modern cloud environments that utilize kubernetes, containers, serverless, and more
