Lyft is hiring a quick study, who is no stranger to working in a high paced and dynamic work space to join our team. You’ll be managing some of our most demanding and complex compliance processes, and owning their intersection with product operations and business growth. To that end, we’re seeking someone who is an expert strategic thinker, problem solver, and project/program leader. You must be analytical, comfortable with large data sets, and have a great eye for efficiency and process improvements. And you’ll do it with a great sense of humor and an excitement to change the face of ridesharing. Because after all - it matters how you get there. 

Responsibilities:

  • Manage Lyft’s operation programs by understanding and operationalizing complex regulatory requirements in high risk markets with stakeholder visibility and buy-in. 
  • Act as a program manager to strategically plan and execute comprehensive cross functional programs from initiation to successful execution.
  • Monitor execution of plans and impact by interpreting and analyzing dashboards, building spreadsheet models to arrive at the right metrics to measure program performance.
  • Create, document and audit new and existing regulatory processes for various audiences - internal and external - to ensure data integrity and compliance.
  • Continuously improve internal processes to work as efficiently as possible and respond more quickly and effectively to shifting regulations.
  • Facilitates discussions within technical teams & work collaboratively to deliver results across multiple functions, including Product, Customer Support, Policy,  Legal, Government Relations, Trust and Safety, and Communications.
  • Understand core business problems and independently lead and prioritize deep dives to uncover new product and business opportunities across the platform and individual markets.
  • Help build a strong argument - and be able to present it -  for automation of manual operational tasks and optimization of product features.
  • Able to navigate high stake situations with a high degree of uncertainty addressing risks and working with the leadership team to mitigate emerging issues.

Experience:

  • 5+ years of ops experience, preferably with a Product Operations background.
  • Data oriented with demonstrated analytical proficiency and skills. 
  • Experience working with Legal and/or Compliance Teams preferred. 
  • Ability to generate hypotheses and successfully manage multiple and sometimes conflicting interests.
  • Strong sense of ownership and curiosity to challenge assumptions.
  • Organized and detail oriented - able to track and juggle multiple ongoing and wide-ranging projects.
  • Good communication and presentation skills.

For candidates living in Colorado the expected base pay range is $106,260-$126,500 and depending on a variety of non-discriminatory factors, including qualifications, experience and geographic location.

This role is work-from-anywhere, excluding the following states and territory: Alabama, Arkansas, Delaware, Iowa, Kansas, Maine, Mississippi, Nebraska, New Hampshire, North Dakota, Oklahoma, South Dakota, West Virginia, Wyoming, Puerto Rico
